Old Friend

Before Wednesday’s GreenBall class at Donnell, I was able to spend a few minutes with Jeff Harst. He accepted my invitation to bring his girl’s team from Ottawa Hills HS for a quick warmup before continuing their drive south for a dual meet against Lima Shawnee HS.  

Jeff and I first met while teaching at Shadow Valley Club in Toledo, back in the 20th Century.  

A fellow USPTA professional and one of the most experienced high school coaches in the Midwest, “Harsty” has been influential in developing not only many junior players, but also has coached dozens of hundreds of the best adult players in northwest Ohio.
