Here’s the list of our annual, and sometimes humorous, FCC Tennis Awards:
- MOST POPULAR EVENT – Club Championships. The crowds were incredible !!
- BEST ATTENDED WEEKLY EVENT – Ladies Day (Mondays)
- PLAYER OF THE YEAR – Mary Pat Longo (She LIVED at the courts!)
- MOST VALUABLE USTA PLAYER – Deb Preston (She just keeps winning….)
- MOST IMPROVED MALE – Rod Walton (got himself in good shape this summer!)
- MOST IMPROVED FEMALES – Jane Bohnlein (new nickname: ‘the blitzing Backhander’); Ries Hohman (may actually be a bit too obsessed about the game.)
- JANE BOHLEIN AWARD (Best Dressed) – Leta Brunner (oh those cute cardigans !)
- JR PLAYER – James Hedrick (one word about this boy: passion.)
- FAMILY OF THE YEAR – Palmer’s (Mom and Dad for transporting, Quin and Grace for loving the game so much!)
- NEW FACE AT THE COURTS – Blair Lane (a bit raw, but we need more men like Blair at the courts!)
