Big Winners of Final Night

The big winners on this final week of Men's Night were Scott Atkins (most points for the season) and Kevin MacDonald (highest weekly average). We had a great summer, meeting 14 weeks in a row without a single rainout.   

Thanks goes out to all my FCC members who came out and supported our tennis program at the 2017 edition of Men's Night.  This is the best attended, most popular and most talked about of all our weekly events. 

Our final party of the year is Saturday September 9th at 4pm. We hope our tennis fans come out for the event - plenty of fun, food, drink, prizes for all.  $15 per person or $25 per couple.  

Full House, Again

For the second week in a row, we had 16 members show up for Men's Night.   I'm pretty sure this is the most fun an FCC Member can have on a Wednesday evening.  

Special thanks to Chef Geoff and his crew for always producing a great spread of food for our hungry guys.

Full House

Not only did we have 10 guys show up for Men's Night, but we also had the pleasure of hosting a court of ladies doubles.  

This summer's weekly activities wrap-up the week of September 14 with courts remaining open through the end of the month.

Special thanks goes to Rod Walton, Tim Hasegawa, Vern Preston and Gary Kreuchauf for braving the rain this evening. All four played through the horrible weather and gained valuable points toward the Men's Night Prize. 

A-atta-boy Award goes to Tim, who took a Vern Preston forehand at FULL SPEED - directly in his eye. Great job Tim - Way to take one for the team !!!

Men's Night Wednesday !!!

The Points race for the inaugural Men's Night Champion heats up as we enter week 6. The men are ranked on both their attendance and how they perform each week. (Between you and I, it's the awesome food from Chef Geoff that keeps bringin' 'em back every week !!!)

Men's Night has Begun !

We had 16 fearless gladiators begin their quest this evening for the ultimate prize - Champion of Men's Night ! 

Special thanks goes out to Chef Geoff Wedwaldt for creating great food for our competitors.
