Room for Improvement

While the condition of the courts has come a long way in two weeks, there is a summer full of fine tuning that must be done.  It's hard to explain, but imagine the months of rehab a person goes thru after major back, brain or heart surgery.  That's the same trauma our clay tennis courts have gone through from the irrigation and fencing projects.

Here's some photos that track the timeline to Sunday's completion.....

October 2017 - trenches for new lines

May 2018 - new lines installed

May 2018 - trenches covered

2 days ago - lines installed

Last night after the first day of open play.

So if you know a fellow FCC member who is confused or perhaps critical of the current condition of the courts, please help them understand that the rehabilitation process is a lengthy one, especially when it takes place during the time of year when people want to use the courts every day.

Please feel free to contact me with your own comments and concerns.  In the meanwhile, you can find me at the FCC courts working every day and night to improve playing conditions.
