The only thing greater than Saturday’s weather was the fun everyone had at the Annual Wimbledon Tennis Party. 

With approximately 20 in attendance, the players who were not on court enjoyed the homemade Strawberries and Cream made by Carissa.

Change of Date for Spring Mixer

Spring Tennis Mixer Has Been Rescheduled
The spring Tennis mixer scheduled for Saturday, May 23 has been rescheduled to Saturday June 13.  The courts will be reserved for members to play tennis from 
11AM - 1PM.  This tennis event is FREE OF CHARGE to all members. Matches will be arranged, and players can play as much as they want! Bring your tennis trivia knowledge, as there will be prizes for those that can answer Bob’s Brain-Busting Tennis Trivia!!!  The Pool Snack Shack will be open, along with our clubhouse dining privilege. Members are required to make reservations afterward for lunch!

Even though Roger Federer lost a heart-breaking Wimbledon final on Sunday, the huge group of tennis fans at FCC proudly wore their white and enjoyed the sun at the annual Wimbledon Mixer.

Wear Your Whites !

Put on your Whites and stop by the courts this Sunday July 14th at 11am for some fun, food and drink.  It’s our annual Wimbledon Mixer ! 

Please contact Bob or Carissa if you plan on attending so we know how much food and drink to order.   Cost $10 per person or $15 per couple.  Members are encouraged to invite a guest to the event.

Wednesday July 4th - Party Time !!!

Thanks so much to the 12 brave players who came over on a sweltering, sticky hot day to play A BUNCH of tennis, drink  a lot of liquid refreshment, and eat some cool freshing snacks.   Our format today was called Fast4, and it worked great, so be sure we'll try it again at our July 14 party.  Below is a photo during today's event that also shows the new location of the Info Board.  

Today's prize winners were the Steffen's and the MacDonald's.

Last Dance

Thanks to all that came out to the final tennis party of the season, commemorating the US OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS, which conclude this weekend.   

At FCC, the big winners were the Jacobson's, who won a set of official FCC Tervis HOT/COLD mugs.

 I had a great time hosting all four of our theme parties, French Open, Wimbledon, Western-Southern and finally the US Open.  We had a lot of fun, gave away a lot of great prizes and enjoyed a lot of great food and beverages.

Thanks to all the FCC Members and their guests for attended our French Open Tennis Party.  

 

While everyone walked away with cool prizes, Paul Jacobson was the big winner on this day, taking home the Wilson Jumbo carry-all Bag.  Way to go Paul. !!

 

Our next party is Saturday July 15th at 4pm. Grand Prize will  be two tickets to the Western-Southern Open in Cincinnati.

I adjusted the dates of the first two parties so we can meet during the final weekend of The French Open and Wimbledon..  Please make note:

• FRENCH OPEN PARTY - JUNE 10th
• WIMBLEDON PARTY - JULY 15th 

The other parties have not changed dates.  

• CINCY MASTERS PARTY - AUGUST 12th
• US OPEN PARTY - SEPTEMBER 9th 

All parties are 4pm.

SUMMER TENNIS PARTY #2 -- JULY 12th

The second TENNIS PARTY of the summer will take place on July 12.

I'm hoping we can repeat the success of the FIRST PARTY, where we had 25 in attendance !!

Once again, we will have plenty to drink, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We had a few players ask about food, so maybe I'll get some fruits & veggies to munch on for those who feel like eating between rounds of tennis in the HOT SUMMER SUN.

No need to sign up - JUST NEED YOU TO SHOW UP........alone, or with someone, JUST COME AND PLAY TENNIS !! $10 per person.

Summer Must be Here

You can tell summer season is in full swing when there are loads of members hanging out at the tennis courts after dark. Tonight marked the first of many post-match parties to come.
