OPERATIONAL PLAN - FCC TENNIS
We are pleased to announce that the tennis facility will
open ahead of schedule this season! The courts will be available for
modified play starting Wednesday May 6.
Recommendations by the USTA are posted on the Club’s website
to minimize the risk of cross-contamination of COVID-19. It is encouraged
that all tennis players familiarize themselves with the information included in
the document by following this link:
Among other precautions mentioned in the link, the following
precautions have also been taken to minimize touch points at the courts:
- Elimination of common
seating areas (off-court benches and tables).
- Availability of
anti-bacterial wipes/cleaning stations.
- Registration of court
usage as usual – please bring your own writing instrument. Please
account for all play so the team can monitor court/restroom usage.
- At the current time, no
guest is play is allowed. This will be evaluated on a weekly basis
based on court demand.
- Patio tables have been removed. Group gatherings
are discouraged.
- Score posts not set up.
- Water coolers will not be available. Please bring
your own water/sports drink and take your trash home with you – no trash
receptacles will be provided.
Appropriate signage will also be posted at the tennis
facility. Please be sure to be aware of the rules before using the
courts.
These measures will remain in place for the immediate
future and subject to change based on environmental conditions. We appreciate
your compliance.
