Here’s some photos from this morning’s prep work:
Court 1 & 2 - These two courts are more popular for member play. Therefore, I spend extra time checking them for imperfections and removing every piece of dead material I see before the new Har-Tru is applied.
Court 3 & 4 - I spent a few extra hours this spring clearing the surface of stone is exposed due to natural erosion of the base material. In future years we will need to perform a laser-guided tapering of the courts. Re-setting the grade to the proper slope is important for safer play and more consistent drainage.

BC has rolled the courts numerous times this spring. He will roll north/south direction a lot because once the nets go up in May we can’t roll in that direction any longer! We must compact the base at just the right firmness before new material and lines are installed in coming weeks.
